Hello Beautiful♥
My name is Stacey Lyn and i have been alive on this crazy, messed up planet for 14 years. Im going into my freshman year of highschool and im pretty excited. Im an adverage girl, brown hair, hazel eyes, 5'4", friends, and family. My parents divorced when i was a lovely 2 months old and i've never heard from my dad since. I live in the wonderful (note the sarcasm) state of Massachusetts.I dance and i have been since i was 2 and a half. I also enjoy playing tennis and badminton, reading and writing. My favorite color is purple and i like the numbers 17 and 21. Random i know, but its true. Cody Simpson and Taylor Swift are my two favorite artists♥ Sometimes i feel like my music is the only thing i can depend on. If i had the choice, i would stay a kid forever. I never want to grow up, but then again, who does? Im a huge dreamer but i always find myself putting me down to keep my heart from being broken. I tend to create senerios in my head that i know will never happen in real life. I get mad at myself for the littlest things and sometimes i wish i could be a better me. Sometimes i just want to dissapear so i wouldnt have to deal with all the drama. Lifes not fair but i sure as hell wish it was. But all we can do is smile, because trust me darling, it looks good on you. So lift your chin and watch those jaws drop. Your beautiful(:

Chapter 7
Emily's POV:
Okay, so you might be wondering what the ‘ridge’ is right about now. Well, the ridge is a small cliff that overhangs the ocean. During the beginning of July, early in the morning, you can see the most beautiful sunrise. The oranges, yellows, blues, purples, and reds blend together perfectly creating a peaceful atmosphere. Carson and I have been going there together since we were little.
“Look at that color!” I said pointing at a peachy color in the sky.
“Gorgeous.” Carson cooed. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Carson staring at me. Was he talking about me? A shiver traveled through my body just thinking about it and I wrapped my arms around myself.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
I shook my head. “Yeah. I’m fine. It’s just a little cold out here, that’s all.” It wasn’t a complete lie. The air this early in the morning was frigid, and there was little breeze.
“Come here,” Carson said. He grabbed my waist and scooted me closer to him. He shrugged off his sweatshirt, something I neglected to bring, and draped it over my shoulders. I slipped my arms into the warm sleeves and rested my head on his shoulder. His strong arms stayed at my waist.
“Just don’t tell James I gave you my sweatshirt.” Carson whispered. His breath on my ear sent even more shivers down my spine. “I’d like to keep my face the way it looks now.” He laughed.
“I won’t.” I promised.
Okay, so im going to Canada early Monday, like 5:30am, so i wont be posting for a while. Depending on what time i get back i'll either be posting again onThursday or Friday. Because im going away im going to try to post as much as possible! Comments & Feedback are nice(:

Chapter 6
Emily's POV:
Carson’s hazel eye’s burned into me as I laid on top of him. I noticed how his right eye was rimmed with blue and purple bruises and started wondering how he got it. My thoughts drifted from Carson’s black eye as he slowly started to move forward, almost eliminating the space between our lips...
I jumped off of him.
“So, what are you doing here?” I asked, desperate to get rid of the awkward moment. I looked at my clock and noticed the time: 5am. No wonders why I was so tired.
“Um, I wanted to know if you wanted to hang out today.” He answered. He lifted himself off the floor, hurt visible on his face.
“At five in the morning!?” I laughed. “Sure, let me just get ready.”
He nodded and left my room. I jumped into the shower letting the warm water run down my back. I got out and got dressed then I straightened my hair and applied my makeup.
“Ready?” Carson asked when I reached my living room.
“Yep!” He grabbed his car keys off the counter and we headed outside.
“Care to share how you got that lovely black eye?” I asked, remembering. He shrugged and opened the passenger side door, motioning for me to get in.
“It’s nothing, really.” He insisted as he shut my door. I knew it was a lie, but I just nodded, brushing it off.
“Kay, whatever you say. So where are we going to?”
Carson smiled. “The ridge.”
Sorry this was a boring chapter. Just wanted to get this part out of the way! Chapter 4
Emily's POV:
After I hung up I felt Carson’s strong arms wrap around me, pulling me into a tight hug. “Was that James?” He asked. I looked at him and nodded, plastering a fake smile on my face.
“Yeah. He… he rescheduled our date.” I whispered. A warm tear started in the corner of my eye but I wiped it away before he could see.
“Do you wanna stay with Carson and I?” Jaden asked coming over.
I shook my head. “No. I think I’m going to go get some air. Thanks though.” I pulled myself out of Carson’s grip and headed for the door. Once I was outside I texted my two best friends, Chloe and Zoey, asking them if they wanted to hang out. Zoey said yes, but Chloe said she was busy and would maybe meet up with us later.
“What a jerk!” Zoey sneered. We were walking the boardwalk, the incredibly hot sun burning down on us, and I just finished telling Zoey about how James blew me off. Again.
“I know! I wonder what’s up with him!” I said, shaking my head.
We continued walking in silence, the only sound was from the people walking around us. “Want some ice-cream? My treat.” Zoey offered.
I looked up at her and smiled. She always knew how to cheer me up. “Sure,” I said.
“Kay, go find a seat and I’ll go get it. Vanilla Fudge Ripple?” She said, naming my favorite flavor.
“Always.”
As I took a seat on a bench, I watched Zoey’s golden blonde hair bounce up and down. Her bright blue eyes flattered her deep tan. Anyone who saw her would agree that she was the prettiest girl in our school, maybe even in the entire town. I honestly had no clue why she hung out with me.
“Here you go,” I looked up to see Zoey holding an ice-cream out for me. I guess I zoned out.
“Thanks!” I said, happily taking it. I licked it a couple of times before I asked, “Do you know why Chloe couldn’t come today? She never misses a walk on the board walk.”
Zoey shook her head. “No clue. She told me something about meeting up with her new boyfriend or something.”
My jaw dropped. Chloe had a boyfriend?

“Oh, hey Carson.” I said bored.
“Well, hello to you too!” Carson said sarcastically. He let himself in and shut the door behind him. “What’s wrong with you today?” He asked, pulling me into a hug. Carson and I have been best friends since we were little. We met when he poured sand down my pants during recess in pre-school…
“James is late! Again! That’s the third time this week!” I said exasperated.
“Well that’s rude!” Carson said. “If you were my lady I’d be sure to be on time.”
I smiled. “Thanks.” I looked up at his tall frame. Carson was at least 4 inches taller than me. His dark brown hair always covered his hazel eyes.
“No problem,” He said, ruffling my hair. “Is Jaden upstairs?”
I nodded. “Yep.” Jaden and Carson were really close.
“Kay, talk to you later.” He said running up the stairs.

Emily's POV:
*1 week earlier*
“I love you,” He whispered. He brushed back my hair and tucked it behind my ear. His warm, soft hands ran down my face, stroking my cheek.
“Forever?”
“Forever,” He repeated.
*Now*
“Hey James, it’s just me again. You’re 40 minutes late and I was just wondering if our dates still on for today. Call me back? Love you.” I hung up my phone and threw it on my bed. Where was he!? He’s never late! I grabbed my phone, checking it to make sure it didn’t break, and headed to the kitchen. I opened the cabinets and searched them for something to eat. Nothing. I opened the fridge. Still nothing.
“Jaden! When’s mom getting home!?” I called up the stairs. My mom was always on business trips. She was only home for about a week at a time before leaving for another one or two weeks. But that was fine. I was 15 and I could take care of myself.
“I don’t know! Tuesday?” He responded. Jaden was my twin brother. With my dirty blonde hair and cloudy gray eyes and his light brown hair and hazel eyes, we looked nothing alike. My curly hair reaches to my chest, and I stand at 5’5”. Jaden’s hair is short and he is about 5’7”.
“Lovely,” I mumbled to myself. I continued searching for food until I heard a knock on the door. I jumped up, suddenly full of energy, and ran to the door.
“James, what took you so- ” It was Carson was at the door.
Okay, so i wasn't going to post this today, but i decided since i'm going to be busy all this week, i'd post it! Let me know what you think!! Comments are reaaaaaallly helpful!! I'm sorry its kinda a boring first chapter!!

Ashlee's POV:
I walked through the front door with a suitcase in both hands. Rolling them up to Ashlee’s room, I stood in the doorway and knocked on the door.
“Hey,” I said, my chest tight. We hadn’t talked for two days, since the day she found out I was moving.
She looked up from her computer and gave me a small smile.
“Hey,” She whispered. Her eyes landed on my suitcases and her smile disappeared. “Your moving today.” There was a question attached to her statement.
I nodded. “Yeah.” Ashlee stood up and walked to my side. She took one of my suitcases and took my free hand, letting our fingers intertwine. She led me down the hall and started for the stairs before I stopped her.
“What are you doing? Don’t you have to go?” She asked softly. I shook my head.
“Not that way.”
We strode down the second hall and stopped at a room.
“This is the guest room.” She said. It sounded more like a question.
“I know.” I opened the door and walked in. I lifted my bag onto the bed and laid it down. “You can just put the suitcase on the bed too.”
She gave me a puzzled look but obeyed. “What’s going on here?” She questioned.
I turned around and flashed a smile. “This is my new room.” I said a matter of factly. My words processed in her head before her mouth curved into a smile.
“You’re not moving?!”
“Nope! Your parents talked it over with mine and convinced them to let me stay with you!” I said.
Ashlee’s smile grew bigger. She ran over to me and jumped into my arms. Her legs wrapped around my waist and her head rested on my shoulder. “I should of known you’d never leave me!!” She whispered.
