My name is Stacey Lyn and i have been alive on this crazy, messed up planet for 14 years. Im going into my freshman year of highschool and im pretty excited. Im an adverage girl, brown hair, hazel eyes, 5'4", friends, and family. My parents divorced when i was a lovely 2 months old and i've never heard from my dad since. I live in the wonderful (note the sarcasm) state of Massachusetts.I dance and i have been since i was 2 and a half. I also enjoy playing tennis and badminton, reading and writing. My favorite color is purple and i like the numbers 17 and 21. Random i know, but its true. Cody Simpson and Taylor Swift are my two favorite artists♥ Sometimes i feel like my music is the only thing i can depend on. If i had the choice, i would stay a kid forever. I never want to grow up, but then again, who does? Im a huge dreamer but i always find myself putting me down to keep my heart from being broken. I tend to create senerios in my head that i know will never happen in real life. I get mad at myself for the littlest things and sometimes i wish i could be a better me. Sometimes i just want to dissapear so i wouldnt have to deal with all the drama. Lifes not fair but i sure as hell wish it was. Chapter 50
Ashlee's POV:
We stepped out of Matt's car and i grabbed Jake's free hand, his other hand clutching his piggy bank. "Be careful crossing, this is a busy street," I warned, looking down at him. He nodded. "What kind of candy are you going to buy?" Matt asked Jake as we waited for the traffic to slow. "Im gunna buy sour patch kids, and skittles, and M&M's, and Reese peantbutter cups!" He said happily. I smiled. Jake was so lucky to be so young and not have a care in the word. The traffic slowed down and soon the street was deserted. I held Jake's hand tighter as we started to cross the road. "Uh oh," Jake said as his piggy bank slipped out of his hand and fell to the ground. There was a loud crack as the glass bank broke and shattered into a million pieces. I started to bend down to help Jake pick up his money but Matt stopped me. "Keep walking, i'll help him pick it up." He assured me. I nodded and gave a weak smile. I finished crossing the street and looked back towards Jake and Matt. I glanced down the street and saw a car speeding forward. "Matt!" I called out, trying to get his attention. I glanced down the road and watched the car speed forward at an alarming rate. "Matt!" I screamed again. He finally looked up at me and i pointed towards the speeding car. I watched horror fill Matt's face as he finally realized what was happening. Without warning, Matt jumped in front of Jakey just as the car reached them. My mouth dropped as i watched Jake and Matt fly through the air and hit the ground with a ear splitting crack. "Matt! Jakey!" I screamed. I ran over to their mangled, blood covered bodies and fell towards the ground. I looked at Matt's cold, lifeless body and grabbed his hand. "Matt, im so sorry." I choked out, tears streaming down my face. "Ashwee ," I heard Jake whimpered. I turned around and pulled him into my lap. "Jakey, im so, so sorry." I cried. "Don't be," He whispered, whipping away my tears. "No matter what happens, i'll always be in your heart." And just like that, my baby brother died in my arms.

*10 months later (beginning of summer)* My relationship with Parker is even stronger now. We have hit some bumps in the road along the way, but it just helped up understand and appreciate each other more. Matt has become my closest guy friend here and we always like to goof around. Ronnie and Leah are my absolute best friends. They have been there for me through thick and thin.
I was sitting on my couch watching That 70's Show when my phone buzzed in my pocket.
Matt 3:47pm - heey(:
Me 3:48pm - heeeey(: whats up?!
Matt 3:50pm - nm. do you want to hang out today!?
Me 3:51pm - suuuuure! come over in 10
was I slid my phone back into my pocket and continued watching TV. It had been really quiet around here lately seeing Nate, Alex, and Parker were in Florida for football camp. About 10 minutes later i heard the door open. "Honey im home!" I heard Matt call out jokingly. "Im in here Matt," I called back, laughing. He walked in and plopped down on the couch next to me. "Did you bring a movie?" I asked. I already knew the answer. It had become a routine that when ever we went over each others house we would always watch a movie. Strange, i know. "Is Harry Potter okay?" He asked, holding up the movie. "Yep!" I replied as i got up to put it in.

My breath got caught in my throat as Ashlee walked through the door. God she looked stunning. I walked up behind her and slid my arms around her waist. "Happy birthday, beautiful," I said, kissing the top of her head. She turned around and pressed her hands against my chest. "Did you do this!?" She asked happily. I nodded and she smiled. "Thank you," She said sweetly. "Your welcome," I said giving her a hug.
Ashlee's POV:
I weaved my way through a jungle of people towards the court yard door. Drew had told me that Parker wanted me to meet him outside. I felt cold air whip my hair back as i stepped outside. I spotted Parker sitting on a blanket in the damp grass and walked over to him. "You wanted me?" I asked as i sat down next to him. "Yeah," He lifted a guitar and placed it on his lap. I watched him carefully strum as he started to sing Next 2 You by Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.

I felt my heart melt as he sang, his voice was just so pure. When the song ended Parker put down his guitar and grabbed my hand. "I love you, Ashlee." He cooed. "I love you too, Parker." I said, leaning in to kiss him.

The three of us hopped out of the car and headed towards the door, our arms linked.

I sighed and looked towards Ronnie. "What do you think?" I asked tiredly. We had been shopping since 12:30 and i have tried on about a trillion dresses. "I agree with Leah." She said bored. I groaned and slid down the wall. "Why haven't you guys tried on anything!" I said exasperated. "Because we haven't found anything!" Ronnie replied. "Now go try this on!" Leah said throwing me another dress. I walked back into the dressing room and slid on the sleek black dress. I smoothed out the pink band and fixed the black and white zebra pattern at the top. I really liked the dress. I stepped out of the dressing room and walked to Leah and Ronnie. "What do ya think?!" I asked, twirling. I watched their mouths drop and I held my breath. "Oh. My. God" Leah said slowly. "Its perfect," Ronnie cooed. I felt a smile cross my face and i let out a sigh of relief. "Should i buy it?" I asked, looking at myself in the mirror. "Yes!" They both screeched. "Parker's going to flip when he see's you!" Leah said. "I sure hope so," I said looking at my self one last time.

My hands sliced the water as i swam laps in the pool. I felt the cold water splash the top of my head from my powerful kicks. "Hey Ashlee!" I heard someone call. I looked up to see Ronnie and Leah standing at the edge of the pool. "Hey guys!" I called back. I swam over to the edge of the pool and climbed up the ladder. I grabbed my towel and walked over to them. "What's up?" I said as i dried off my hair. "Well, there is this party next week. Its a formal party so all the girls where dresses and the guys where tuxes. Are you in?" Leah asked. "Sure, when and where?" I replied. "Its next Wednesday, I'll give you the address later. We can go dress shopping tomorrow if you want." Ronnie continued. "Sound's like fun!" I said nodding. "Okay! Well we have to go! See you tomorrow!" Leah said, walking through the door. After they left i went up stairs and took a shower. I put on a navy blue tank top and some white shorts. I put on some light make up and walked down stairs to meet Jake. "Are you ready!?" I asked as i walked into the living room. "Yeah!" He replied excitedly. He hopped off the couch and came to my side. "What movie do you wanna watch?" I asked as i took his hand. "Hop!" Jake said. I nodded and walked him out to the car.

I walked up the stairs towards Drew's bedroom. It was about 11 o'clock and Ashlee was still asleep. But that didn't matter. I needed to talk to Drew. I headed over to his door and knocked. I heard a groan and then feet shuffling across the hard oak floor. The door opened and Drew stood there with bed head and his pajamas on. "Hey, can i ask you a question?" I asked, feeling slightly awkward. Drew nodded and opened the door wider. He stepped aside and i walked into his room. "So, what do you want?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest. I licked my lips and sat down on his couch. "Well Ashlee's birthday is next week and i really want to do something special for her. I was wondering if you had any ideas," I answered. Drew sighed and sat down on his bed. "You really love her, don't you." He said. "I...yes. I love her." I responded slowly, shaking my head. "So do you have any ideas?" I asked again. Drew nodded, "Yeah, i have a few..."
Ashlee's POV:
I jogged down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. I spotted my mom at the counter and Jake sitting down at the table. "Good morning." My mom said, pouring milk into Jakes bowl of cereal. "Morning," I responded. I grabbed the bag of bread and put a slice in the toaster. I sat down next to Jake and waited for my toast. "Ashwee will you play wif me?" Jake said, tugging at my arm. "Im actually going to go swim for a while, but how about later i take you to a movie?" I said ruffling his hair. "Otay!" He said cheerfully. When i finished eating my toast, i grabbed my towel and headed out to the pool.

I licked my lips and sat down on his couch. "Well Ashlee's birthday is next week and i really want to do something special for her. I was wondering if you had any ideas," I answered. Ashlee's POV:
I jogged down the stairs and walked into the kitchen. I spotted my mom at the counter and Jake sitting down at the table. "Good morning." My mom said, pouring milk into Jakes bowl of cereal. "Morning," I responded. I grabbed the bag of bread and put a slice in the toaster. I sat down next to Jake and waited for my toast. "Ashwee will you play wif me?" Jake said, tugging at my arm. "Im actually going to go swim for a while, but how about later i take you to a movie?" I said ruffling his hair. "Otay!" He said cheerfully. When i finished eating my toast, i grabbed my towel and headed out to the pool.

Parker and i pulled apart and a smile instantly spread across my face. The rain had slowed and a light mist had fallen over the meadow. "Look," Parker said pointing behind me. I turned around and my eyes fell apon
a bright rainbow, its colors cascading across the sky. "Wow," I said in awe. "I know," he replied. I felt his arms slide around my waist and his steady breathing down my neck. My head rested against his chest and let out a heavy sigh. "We should probably head back," I said, not wanting this moment to end. He nodded as I slid my hand into his and we headed back through the wood.
