I want to leave
not because I hate this town,
but after awhile
the sadness becomes a part of you,
and plants a seed of wrath in your
heart, until the town is
no longer a town
but a place filled with unhappy
souls.
I need to leave because that is the
only way I will ever be able to
escape this sadness that has
slowly become apart of me.
