On my mind.
(Chapter forty-two)
Cody's P.OV.
After Erika cried for about 10 minutes her mom walked in to the room, followed by her dad. "Oh Erika." she said as she looked at down at her and ran over. Her mom looked up at me and mouthed, "Take her to the hotel." I nodded. "Erika, lets go to the hotel." I said quietly. She looked up at me, her eyes were blood shot and her cheeks were puffy. "Give me a minute." I helped her up and she looked down at the casket. She put her hand on his cheek, "Your cold." she mumbled. "I love you Jared,  more then you will ever know. I will miss you." she said as she bent down and kissed him on the cheek. She turned around and hugged me. "Lets go, like now." she said. "Mom we are going. I am sorry, I can't handle this. Love you guys." she said, giving everyone a kiss on the cheek. A limo was waiting outside for us and we got outside.
When we got back to the hotel she went in to the bathroom to take a shower. She took this in to the bathroom,  http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=35078790.
I layed down on the bed and sighed. I got up and changed in to sweats and took off my shirts. After a few minutes my phone rang.
Me: Hello?
Jake: Turn on the news.
Me: Why?
Jake: Now.
He hung up and shrugged, deciding to turn on the news. I nodded and got up to get the remote off the bureau. When I turned it on, there were pictures of me and Erika all over the news. There were pictures of Erika getting slapped, me running at the girl, the girl laying on the ground and Erika's foot on her back, and pictures of Erika crying. The pictures flashed across the screen and there were newscasters making up stories. I quickly shut off the TV. "Oh my god." I heard Erika say. I looked up and Erika was standing in the doorway of the bathroom. "Erika.." I said quietly. "I can't take this anymore!" she screamed as she ran out of the hotel room, slamming the door behind her.
