So my answer to your question is:
If your boyfriend doubts your realationship it is quite normal because everybody has doubts. If someone doesn't have doubts then they're probably not being truthful with themselves.
He could just be confused right now and going through a stage. He might just need some time to think. I Think the best thing is to just not stress over it even though its nearly impossible.
Everybody has doubts because it's simply being human. I'm sure you've probably had your share of doubts at some point in the realationship but doubts you kept inside you head and didn't share with anybody. It could just be that he's more open about his thoughts. You could atleast be thankful for him being open with his feelings and telling you the truth and not carrying on the realationship hiding all the things that he's thinking. So whoever this boy is I can tell you that he IS honest and probably won't lie to you.

So that's my advice for you.
