(Jake's POV) chapter 1
A blue car parked in my driveway. My friends, Jack and Mitch looked at me. "Who's that?" Jack asked me. "Uhh..my mom's friend from Michigan i think.." I looked back at the car. A girl stepped out of the passenger seat. She had long brown hair, and she was pale. haha, Michigan(: "And that?" Mitch looked at me, then stared at the girl my mom was hugging. "Her daughter.." i looked away so she wouldnt notice we were staring. "Hottt.." Jack smiled at me. "Uhh she's mine. I'm living with her." I playfully punched Jack. We heard my mom call us over. We dropped our stuff and walked over. I shook my head, my blonde hair messed up.
When we got to my mom, the girl looked away, her green eyes sweeping the backyard. She was maddd hot. I live with her(; My mom introduced us. "This is Emily." My mom said to us. I looked her up and down so she'd notice. "Hey," I winked at her. She smiled and looked away. Hmm..she digs me(;

(Emily's POV)
I left school at 2:30 on Thursday. It's finally the end of sophomore year! I said reluctantly said goodbye to my friends and jumped on my bus...
I got home and walked inside, threw my bag on the floor and walked into the kitchen. My mom was finishing packing some things up. My mom and I were flying to North Carolina from Michigan to see my mom's best friend for the summer. From what I hear, the house is really big and nice, but they live like on a farm...cool.
"Hey sweetie, how was your last day?" she looked at me and smiled as she closed a box.
"Good." I said, grabbing a drink from the fridge. "You better finish packing. We're leaving in 45 minutes." She warned. I walked up to my room and finished packing last-minute things. Ipod, phone, hairbrush, makeup, ect. I looked at my room once more for the summer and closed my door.
We were on the plane for alittle while and drove to Alice's house(My mom's friend). We stopped in front of a big garage door . There were 3 guys playing street hockey on the other side of the back yard. I looked at them for a second before we stepped out of the car. The boys looked at us for a minute then continued playing. The blue garage door began to open and Alice was standing on the other side of it, jumping up and down. She was really small, alittle taller than me and I'm 5'3. She ducked under the door and hugged my mom. "Ahhh I've missed you!" She smiled huge, then came to hug me. "You've gotten so big! Wow!" She laughed looking at me happily.
"Hi, nice to see you." I smiled and fixed my wavy long brown hair. She smiled at my mom again and looked at our rental car, filled with bags. "Let me get Jake and his friends to help us here." She looked back to the boys in the back. "Jake! Can you guys help us?" She yelled. "You have a son?" I asked, surprised. "Yeah." She looked at me, "You didnt know?"
"Nope.." I said. cooool. i have to live with some random kid all summer? I hope he's cute(:
