haha okay well it's kinda hard to explain, but when you click on the profile layout that you want to use, a longggg code will show up. then you copy the entire code, and go to "edit profile" at the top of your witty page, and in it you click on source and paste the entire code in there. then what i like to do is just save it from there and look to see what it looks like. then go back to "edit profile" and the profile you chose should be there. then you can double click on the boxes where you're supposed to type and just type whatever you wantt! :) .... ANDDD.. i know you were looking for the background.. but once again.. i never really know where to find those either.. but if the profile comes with one it should just show up.. im sure you could just go to google and type in "css backgrounds" .. css is just the name for the type of code you need. once you get that code you just paste that into the "source" in edit profile. sooo. i know that may sound COMPLETELY confusing. but hopefullyy you can get it!! :/ haha try it out and if not ill still try and help youu :) hahaha

well to be honest, i'm not positive how i got that background! hahaha. but while i was on a site getting a code for the layout for my profile, the background just came with it.. not all the layouts come with the backgrounds but a couple do.. ill give you the link, just incase you want a layout too :) ask me if you have anymore questions on how to actually put it on your profile or anythingg:)
