What I meant when I said that he feels like he is worth something, was that usually (at least at my school) special ed students dont get to become actively involved in the activities that we participate in and that can sometimes make them feel left out or worthless. But because we all cheer him on and include him, it makes him feel worth something, like he is making a difference.
