Imagine...
Your day had been long, to say the least. It seemed like the
world was working against you, and it was proving too much for you
to handle. When you came home, you barely muttered a
“Hello” to him and went straight for the shower. You
undressed as the water heated up, seeing your reflection blur in
the mirror. Once the bathroom was sufficiently filled with fog from
the heat of the shower, you stepped in only to make the water even
warmer. It caused your skin to turn red, but you chose to ignore
the pain and tried to focus on the heat relaxing your muscles.
Before you realized it, the stress of the day had piled on too much
and you began to cry. Moments later, the shower door opened and he
stepped inside, immediately pulling you to him when he saw your
eyes. He began singing to you, lowering himself so he was at eye
level. While singing to you, he washed your hair for you and gave
you a scalp massage in the process. He massaged your limbs with
vanilla scented body wash, trailing his skilled fingers with light
kisses. “I won’t let these little things slip out of my
mouth, but if it’s true it’s you- it’s you they
add up to. I’m in love with you, and all your little
things.”
