I started tickling Alex's ribs so he'd put me down.
"Stop it!" he blurted out, laughing.
"Put me down then!" I was laughing also.
Finally when he'd had enough he set me down but kept his hands on my waist.
I looked up into his gorgeous brown eyes & smiled.

Next thing I know, he leaned down & kissed me.
It was so gently & passionate. I felt my knee's got a little limp.
He slowly wrapped his arms around me as we finally pulled away & stared into each's eyes.
It felt like it was just us in this mall, no one else around.
They started playing a slower song, so we just danced to that, still holding eachother close.

Finally when the song ended, we walked back over to our table & sat down, watching the others.
"That was amazing" Alex finally said.
"I know, I loved it." I said, smiling at him.
"Me too" he shot me a smile back.

So after about 10 minutes of us sitting there watching everyone, we headed for the door & decided to go back to the school since it was already after 5 & they'd be getting out soon.
The whole way back we was holding hands.

When we got back, everyone was starting to come out so we just went to our areas & got ready to leave.

My dad finally showed up to pick me up, Alex always rides the bus home so he went to the ramp.
The whole way home I kept thinking about our time at the mall, I kept looking at the pictures I took.

"Who's that?" my little sister asked, pointing to my phone.
"My friend Alex." I said, smiling.
"Is he your boyfriend?" she asked.
My dad looked into the mirror, back at us.
"No, he's just a friend." I said.
she went back to playing with her bag.
"For now" I mumbled.

Not sure how much longer I'm gonna be on this site.
It's changing so much, I don't even know what to think.

After we danced for a little bit, I went & sat down.
Just watching Alex & everyone else goof around & they all was so happy & silly.
Like 1 guy was doing the robot, the a few girls was doing the cha-cha slide, Alex was doing the hokie-pokie with a few people also.

Then I got a text from Sammi.
"Where are you?!"
"At the mall with Alex, why?" I replied.
"You're suppose to be here, what are yall doing at the mall??" she asked.
"Alex showed up late so he didn't wanna stay, so he asked if I wanted to go hangout with him." I wrote back.
"Really?? Since when do you let a boy juggle your school & grades? You know you're gonna fail if you keep skipping!!" I could tell now she was mad.
"It's fine, a few days isn't gonna hurt nothing. Okay. It's still the beginning of the year. I've got plenty of time to make whatever up." I replied.
"Yeah, whatever. That's you, not me. Have fun with him." She replied, but I just shut my phone.

Alex came over there, I guess realized how annoyed I suddenly got.
"Hey, what's wrong?" he said, huffing after all that dancing.
"Nothing.. I'm fine." I said, smiling.
Trying to cover it up.
"Dixie, you really aren't a good liar." he said, laughing & looking at me.
"It's fine, just a little tiff with Sammi again, but it's fine. She was just wondering why I wasn't at school again." I finally told him.
"Ohhhhh.. Are you gonna get introuble by her if you don't get back?" he asked.
"Me, introuble by her? No." I laughed a little at the thought.
"Okay then, don't worry so much." He said, grabbing my arm & shaking me.
We both started laughing & smiling.

After about 10 minutes passed, Alex looked over at me.
"Wanna go dance again?"
"Sure, but you gotta give me a piggy back ride over there" I said, laughing.
"Sounds fine with me." He got up & stood infront of me smiling.
"Ya know I was kidding right?" I laughed & looked up at me.
"Well, I'm not!" he said, then grabbed me up & put me over his shoulder & ran back over to the crowd.
 
So sorry for not writing yesterday.
I'm gonna write a few chapters today to make up for it.

Home room went by sooo slow, it seemed to have lasted the whole day.
I was glad when it finally was over.
I forgot to get my books for 1st period so I had to go to my locker before class.

When I got to my locker, I was suprised at what I seen.
Alex was standing there, waiting for me.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked, curiously.
"Wow, didn't wanna see me? Okay I see how it is!" He said, laughing a little & smiling at me.
"That's not what I meant. I mean, you wasn't in home room, where was you?" I said back.
"Yeah, sorry.. I got here late." He said, messing with something in his pocket.
"It's okay." I said, digging through my locker.

"Wanna go somewhere, anywhere?" He asked.
I looked up at him, watching his face expression.
"Skip school, again?" I laughed.
"Aww, come on. It's better then lame school, isn't it?" He said.
"Umm, I guess we could. Where do you wanna even go??" I asked.
"I don't know. Wherever!" He said, taking my books from me & putting them back into my locker.

So we headed for the doors, then outside.
I wasn't sure where we was going, but long as I was with Alex, I didn't really care.

We walked all the way to the libary, then went to the mall afterwards.
It was kinda hot, so I'm super glad I wore shorts.
When we got to the mall, we got an icee each & took a little rest at 1 of the tables.
It's like 10 miles from our school, to here.

But I wanted to go look at clothes after a little while, so Alex got dragged alone.
We started trying on different things, we would probably never wear.
I decided to take a few pictures of us with the outfits on & the crazy things we was doing.

"Hey, look!" Alex yelled.
So I turned around to see a bunch of people dancing in a huge group.
"Wanna dance??" He asked, smiling.
"Sure" I said, laughing.

He was so hyper, it was adorable.
We joined in with everyone & started dancing.

I woke up & checked my phone, it was already midnight & I was still out here.
I know I'm probably gonna be in trouble for staying out here this late.
So I got Bella & we rode back to the stalls, then as soon as I got her put up & closed up the stalls,
I turned around to find my dad standing there.

"Why are you still out here this late, what have you been doing all this time?" He asked.
"Um, I kinda fell asleep down by the river. I am so sorry, I didn't mean to!" I said.
He looked at me, like he was trying to see if I was lieing to him or not.
"Fine, get on inside & get up to bed." He finally said.
So I rushed inside & up stairs to my room.

I can't believe I actually fell asleep down there, that's something I've never done.
But, nothing I can do about it now.
I needed to get to bed for school tomorrow!
So I got changed real fast & got in bed, then within no time I was out like a light.

The next morning I woke up feeling exhausted.
It felt like I didn't sleep hardly at all, tossed & turned all night long.
But I still wanted to go to school so I could see Alex.
So I got a shower really quick & threw on a t shirt, some shorts & my boots.
Pulled my hair into a pony-tail & re-did my makeup.
Finally, I was ready to go.

** time for school **

When I got there Alex wasn't in homeroom, it was kinda weird.
I guess he didn't come today.
So I took my normal seat & waited for everyone to come in & get seated.
Sammi finally arrived & took the seat right next to me.
"Hey girl, what's up?" She said, sitting down.
"Hey, just waiting for class to begin. You?" I said back.
"Eh, same. Where's Alex?" She asked.
"I guess he didn't come today, I haven't seen him yet." I said, looking at the door.
"Oh okay, I'm not sure." She said, messing with something in her bag.

Finally more students & the teacher started coming in, but Alex still didn't show.
I wish he would've came.
