...you shouldn't even get me started on them.
But, most of the things I saw were lighter reads (to me, anyway). If you want something more intense, check out the Thirst books by Christopher Pike. Between (unknown author. Cover is a girl on a swing) and Perfect (unknown author. Pink cover) were good, too.
Ugh, I could go on. But I'll stop, because if I don't...oh my. Let's not get the ball rolling. ^o^
