(Emily's POV) chapter 17
The doctor walked out and I looked up at Jake with a worried look. He looked down at me and widened his eyes, placing his hand on top of mine.
"I'm gonna go pick up my mom to sign you out." He smiled a little and kissed my cheek, and silently stepped out of the room. Leslie looked at me and sat on the edge of the bed.
"He nearly had a heart attack when he saw you. And hes still shaking like a Chihuahua." She chuckled. I let out a small smile and closed my eyes.

I woke up to hear Jake and his mom talking. Did I fall asleep? My head still pounded. I adjusted my position and everyone stopped talking to look at me. Jake's mom shuffled quickly over to me and put her cold hand on my forehead.
"Hey sweety, we're gonna take you out of here soon." I smiled at her and took a deep breath.
A half hour later Jake nudged my shoulder.
"Time to go babe." He smiled and took my hand. I stood up and felt dizzy. I put my arm around his shoulder and we walked to the car.
We arrived at the house and Jake helped me inside and we went into my room. My bed felt amazinnggg(: Jake sat at the foot of the bed and looked at me.
"What's wrong?" I groaned, turning to my side to look at him.
"When I find out who did this to you I'm gonna..." He trailed off and took a deep breath, getting angry. I wanted to tell him it was John, but for Jake's safety i probably shouldn't.
I smiled a little, and his eyes softened.
"I love you baby. Thank you so much."
He laughed and moved over, and leaned in to kiss me.
"I love you too. Forever." He smiled tapped my nose and walked out.
