(Jake's POV) chapter 6
I searched her face, waiting for an answer, or some sort of expression. She stared at me like a deer in headlights, then suddenly smiled. She looked down at her hands and back to me. "I'd like that.." YESSS<33 jdfhbkdjbfhegfg
I smiled like an idiot and grabbed her waist, pulling her down next to me. She curled up next to me and smiled, closing her eyes. I watched her for awhile, until i think she fell asleep. Satisfied, i fell asleep too.
....
I woke up again at about 7:00. I fixed my position next to Emily. She sighed and cuddled closer to me. It's weird that she hated me so much and we hated each other, and now we're boyfriend and girlfriend. Maybe i was right, she liked me from the beginning(:
After laying there for awhile, i heard our mom's walking down the hallway upstairs. I jumped up, trying not to wake Emily, and flung myself to the other side of the couch. Emily woke up and looked at me, sprawled around on the couch. She smiled alittle and stretched out, purposely kicking me in the stomach. I saw our mom's walk down the stairs. They noticed us on the couch and stopped. I pretended I was sleeping, and Emily wasn't awake enough to answer anyway. I heard my mom whisper to Em's mom and they started walking into the kitchen.
I climbed over to Emily and tried to wake her up. She was a realllyyy heavy sleeper. My mom walked into the livingroom and saw me. "Hey sweety, can you wake up Em? we're going out for breakfast." "Yeah." I smiled at her and she walked back into the kitchen. I kept trying to wake her up, but she wouldnt listen. I tried blowing in her face and shaking her shoulder, tickling her and jumping on the couch. She finally opened her eyes after 5 minutes, thank god. "Good. Your not dead." I smiled at her. I was about 4 inches from her face. I watched her eyes as she woke up.
I took her hand and we went upstairs to change. Em bumped into the wall about 3 times. I went into my room and she went to hers. After about 10 minutes we both walked out of our rooms. Emily was still tired, squinting her eyes in the light. I put my arm around her and walked down the stairs.
We were driving to the Ihop about 10 minutes away from my house. My mom and Em's mom were talking up a storm in the front seats. Emily and I were sitting in the very back. She rested her head on my shoulder and pulled out her phone. "I miss my friends.." She said quietly. "You have no friends though.." I joked, she softly punched my side grinning. "Guess i dont have a boyfriend then either.." She looked at up at me and folder her arms smiling. "No no no you still have me." I smiled and leaned my head down on hers.
We pulled up to the Ihop and took a table inside. We ordered and were eating when I got a text.
"How do we tell our moms?" - Emily
I looked up from my phone at her, she was looking at me, question in her eyes.
"So momm..Emily's mom.." i started talking, not answering Emily's text, "How would you feel about us going out?"
